Blue Tiger Eye is a combination of Quartz and the mineral Crocidolite, which is a type of asbestos, that has been modified over time, heat and pressure. It then is exposed to iron and silicon fluids which eventually replace the asbestos fibers to become this beautiful, fibrous blue/gray chatoyant color.
